My
Conscience Urges Me
To Practice

Dear venerable Supreme Master Ching Hai,
 First
of all, thank You sincerely for bestowing upon me Your love
and blessings, sending me News magazines, and writing back
to me. Each issue of the magazine is like nectar for my
heart; and Your letter is the timely rain in strengthening
my faith.
Ever since
I finished reading Your book -- The Key of Immediate Enlightenment,
Book 6 -- I began to switch to a vegetarian diet and keep
the five precepts. It is rare to encounter an enlightened
Master, and it is not easy to seek the Truth. Now that Master
has already selflessly bestowed the greatest love upon our
suffering world, those with conscience should not have any
more doubts or hesitation.
Presently,
I am practicing the Convenient Method at the Seoul Center.
On the day that I learned the Convenient Method, my wife
called from mainland China to tell me that she had already
begun to keep a vegetarian diet and the five precepts on
a regular basis. Ever since I switched to a vegetarian diet,
I have been making international phone calls once or twice
a week to my wife, telling her about Your holy teachings.
Originally, I only expected her to support my becoming a
vegetarian. To my surprise, in a very short time she also
accepted Your teachings! It is really incredible! My wife
used to love eating meat very much. Without meat for two
days, she would be unable to eat, yet feeling starved and
voracious for meat. However, now she even is determined
to keep a pure vegetarian diet! She had not even read Your
books and seen Your photos, let alone listened or watched
Your audio and videotapes. Everything was due to Your love,
granting her great blessings!
I have
realized that the more difficult one's environment is, if
one is really sincere in seeking the Truth, the more blessings
-- more than doubled -- that You will bestow upon that person.
After believing in You and keeping a pure vegetarian diet,
even though we live in different countries, yet whatever
we do, is all done smoothly. Moreover, various miracles
have happened to us! We both have truly experienced Master's
boundless love and power.
When a
living Buddha lives in this world, it is the best time to
practice spiritually. I must cherish this valuable affinity
and opportunity. Meanwhile, I also sincerely pray for my
wife, hoping that she will have the opportunity to learn
from the living Buddha and receive initiation as well.
Today
in our phone conversation, my wife told me that she received
Your books which I had mailed to her...and is reading them!
When she read that a Master has to suffer various kinds
of tortures for the sake of delivering sentient beings,
she couldn't help crying on the phone. I was so touched
that I almost cried as well!
