Coming To The Rendezvous

By Fellow Initiate Cheng Ching, Singapore (Originally In Chinese)

I know,
That You have been waiting for me
From the beginning of love,
Under the Chin Dynasty clouds
          and the Han Dynasty moon,
Surpassing the transmigration of life and death.

You appear, as You vowed to,
With Your parasol
And a thunderous voice
         reverberates throughout the planet.
That shakes me up
From my slumber.

Having heard the music of the pine forest
At Nan Mountain at night,
I hurried to go on my way.
Dear Master,
I have come
To the rendezvous
        arranged two thousand years ago.
