Poem

True Love

By Fellow Initiate X.Y., Munich, Germany

There is a kind of Love inside.
When She touches my heart,
It comforts my soul,
Calms my restless mind.

This is the kind of Love inside,
Which shows me the way toward the Light,
Removes my sorrow,
Gives me a truly happy life.

Oh, this is the kind of Love inside,

Which replaces my fear,

Srengthens my weakening courage,

 Protects me at all times.

In the world of life,
She is the guiding Light on the sea,
for the lonely boats;
The warm fire, for the lost travellers;
The running river, for the thirsty birds;
After a long, long flight.

Oh, this Love inside,
Is not an ordinary kind.
She is beyond this world,
Beyond all space and time,
Above any world I can find.

She is endlessly deep,
Endlessly wide,
Overwhelming the whole universe.
Although simple as a child,
She is so true and fine.

  I find no words to describe Her,

Even a little more precisely.

All I'll do is stop this cry,

And reach out my wings,

Fly and fly,

Up to merge with Her,

Together,

You and I.

Ah, there won't be You, won't be I.
Please don't ask me why,
I'm so eager to find.
Neither do I know it,
Neither do I know it, within the mind.

But how I wish,
All of us, all will find,
This kind of Love - the Love within us,
So profound, deep inside.

The way might be rough,
Full of trials;
But then you will realize,
What the truth is - that you never die;
What does shine - is really bright;
And that is the true source
Of all beings,
Of any you and I.
