Flood Victims Touched
by Master’s Love

In August 2009, a state of emergency was declared in
the city of Conakry, Guinea, after heavy rains caused flooding that
destroyed houses and other buildings as well as left many homeless.
Profoundly concerned about those affected by the disaster, Supreme
Master Ching Hai provided US$4,000 in relief funds to help those
in need.
A group of our Benin Association members later went to Conakry to
convey Master’s love and distribute relief supplies including
rice, cooking oil and sugar to the affected families, who were deeply
grateful for Her assistance. During their visit, the relief team
was graciously helped by the local flood relief inspector, other
authorities and the area’s governor, who sent a sincere letter
of thanks to Supreme Master Ching Hai.
