Mr. Gong Yulin runs a small packaging material factory in Chongqing, southwestern China. For seven years, he has been frugal with his daily expenses and used the savings to pay tuition fees for 15 needy students, a total that now exceeds RMB400,000 (US$58,000). One of the beneficiaries is now a doctoral candidate. On March 28, Golden Year 6 (2009), our Association members visited Mr. Gong at his home and presented to him a letter of appreciation along with US$3,000 from Supreme Master Ching Hai. Upon seeing the exquisite art albums and books from the Supreme Master, he and his wife were extremely touched and assured us that they would share these noble and educational gifts with the students when they came back from vacation. They also promised to contribute to world peace.

We sincerely thank Mr. Gong for setting an outstanding example in sponsoring destitute students. Hopefully more people will follow in his footsteps and transform this world into a heaven where everyone loves and cares for each other!
