Restoring the Green Forests
By Aulac News Group (Originally in Aulacese)

With the total US$50,000 forest restoration fund provided by Supreme Master Ching Hai earlier this year, our Association members from Central and Northern Âu Lạc worked together with the local people and government officials in March Golden Year 6 (2009) to plant over 700,000 trees on 400 hectares of land. With God’s grace, the flood-eroded hilltops in Âu Lạc are now being gradually restored with their fresh, new greenery.

Deeply touched by Master’s selfless help and boundless compassion, many government officials have expressed their appreciation. Mr. Phạm Trọng Cử, Vice Chairman of Quảng Nghĩa village, Quảng Ninh province, and Mrs. Đoàn Thị Duyên, Vice Chairwoman of Hải Tiến village, Móng Cái city, Quảng Ninh province jointly wrote to Master, “On behalf of people in the area, we would like to thank Supreme Master Ching Hai and wish Her great health as She conducts more charitable activities for humankind.” Mr. Vũ Trọng Thức, director of Cát Phước Reforestation Company, Đà Lạt city, Lâm Đồng province, graciously wrote, “Thank you, Supreme Master Ching Hai, for bringing happiness to humankind in the world.” Mr. Lê Đức Phúc, Vice Chairman of Lộc An village, Phú Lộc district, said: “This is realistic work, which serves as a motivation to encourage people to continue with their tree planting to rebuild the green lung for Earth.”

May mutual cooperation such as this continue to help restore our precious Planet Earth.
