A Year-end Retreat
Full of Divine Grace

By a fellow initiate in China (Originally in Chinese)

With Master’s infinite grace, beginning in December, Golden Year 5 (2008), fellow initiates all over the world had the opportunity to attend sessions of a four-day retreat at a Center in Europe, to pray for world peace and help elevate world consciousness.

Our fellow initiates joined the session from December 15 to 18. During this time, Master came to bless us every day, touching every one of us on the forehead to remind us of the wisdom eye, transmitting Her enormous love. On the first evening, Master told us a story about a Muslim Sufi Master. The message of the story was that the enlightened Masters do not always respond to disciples’ requests, not because They lack the power to do so, but because They have greater missions to accomplish. Sometimes it could also be that the request is not good for the disciple or the Master's power work is not perceivable by us. Master further reminded us to always be grateful at heart. The more gratitude we feel, the more miracles will occur, giving rise to a transformative cycle. Innumerable miracles can occur in our daily life, and if we keep our eyes wide open, we will be able to see them. And while God doesn’t need us to be grateful to Hirm, our gratitude is most beneficial for us.

Speaking on another occasion, Master spoke about the importance of vegetarianism and said that if we had bought food containing animal ingredients by mistake, we could just bury it or throw it away rather than give it to non-vegetarians. She said that She often bought delicious vegetarian food to be given to outside people together with the flyers. Then they would find that vegetarian food is delicious and would buy more and make it a habit to do so.

Master was very happy to know that some fellow initiates were making vegetarian meal boxes to be sold to outside people. She said that this is a good method as it does not need a large amount of capital to get started. However, we must make sure that the food is delicious, clean and affordable; then we will have a lot of customers, and many people will have the chance to taste and understand more about the vegetarian diet.

Master advised us to learn how to plant crops such as potato, sweet potato, cucumber, and winter melon, which are relatively easy to cultivate, have a short harvest cycle and do not need a lot of water for irrigation. In the future, we can share our harvest with people who need food. Practitioners of the Quan Yin Method definitely will not die of hunger, because we have enormous blessing from God. Master wants us to be prepared for the future, so that in case we do not have food, we can still derive enough nutrients from the life-sustaining force of the Universe. The key is that we must have faith in God. Master said that life or death is not a problem for us; the key is how we live and how we die. When we are alive, we should live a life of vigor. When we die, we should go in peace.

Although the time we stayed at the Center was limited and the moments we enjoyed with Master were short, we were most fortunate to have been blessed by Master’s presence. Furthermore, we meditated diligently day and night, which gave us great elevation in body, mind and spirit. Filled with gratitude, all of us returned home, earnest to share God’s infinite blessing with the world and do our best to help save the planet.
