“Be Veg, Go Green, Save the Planet” Exhibition

By Johor Bharu News Group (Originally in Chinese)

[Johor Bharu] To inform the public about the causes and consequences of global warming, from October 20 to 26, Golden Year 5 (2008), the Johor Bharu Center held a “Be Veg, Go Green, Save the Planet” Exhibition at Popular Bookstore in Jaya Jusco (Tebrau City).

The message was displayed on banners and related newspaper clippings were posted. SOS Global Warming DVDs and flyers were passed out. For the bigger crowds on Friday through Sunday, the DVD and footage of Master’s teleconference with the Formosan initiates on climate change were played repeatedly, drawing people to the video screening. In addition, pocket-sized name cards of Supreme Master Television were distributed so that people could refer to them and watch the programs on the Internet anytime.

The initiates of Johor Bharu look forward to holding similar exhibitions and activities in schools and organizations to let more people understand the grave situation and solutions to the global warming crisis.

The principal of Tadika Mulia Kindergarten generously allowed us to write vegetarian slogans and updates about Supreme Master Television on its outer walls. These will serve as constant reminders to the public about the importance of the vegetarian diet and environmental protection.
