Love in Action


Master has always been extremely concerned about disasters that occur worldwide. Whenever receiving news about disasters anywhere, She immediately renders relief by providing financial assistance as well as dispatching rescue teams to help in the affected areas. Through such relief efforts, we are also conveying Master’s love to the disaster victims. It is evident that Master’s unconditional love, silent blessing and help have reduced worldwide disasters and their affects to a minimum.

In recognition of the selfless actions of all governments, organizations and relief workers from every corner of the world, Master would like to convey this message of gratitude:

Thank you all the relief workers for taking time and forsaking your own comfort, even traveling great distance on unfavorable roads and conditions to bring love and assistance to people in a time of need. Divine Care Brings Comfort
in Tibet’s Earthquake
and Snow Disasters

On October 6, 2008, Damxung County of Lhasa City in Tibet was struck by an earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale, causing several casualties and affecting the lives of thousands of people. Extremely concerned, Master immediately requested our fellow initiates from China to find out about the situation and contributed US$15,000 to their relief effort.

After learning what the people most urgently needed from the Civil Administration Department of Damxung County, our fellow initiates traveled to neighboring Qinghai Province to purchase RMB100,000 (US$14,600) of relief materials, which included blankets, gloves and cotton clothing such as coats, pants, hats and shoes. In addition, we prepared love packages containing candy blessed by Master and Be Veg-Go Green flyers. As the cold winter was round the corner, the weather in the area turned bad. Fortunately, the relief provisions blessed with God’s love alleviated the urgent needs of the people, who were very grateful to receive the gifts.

 

Just as our relief team was preparing to go home, the news came that Shannan Prefecture in Tibet was besieged by a rare and persistent snowstorm that affected more than 50,000 people. Master promptly told us to find out the situation and contributed another US$15,000 for the relief work. Fellow initiates from Sichuan and Qinghai immediately purchased much-needed blankets and warm clothing.

 

On November 28, two truckloads of relief supplies reached the two affected counties of Lhunze and Cuona. In Lhunze County, on behalf of Master, fellow initiates distributed the relief funds and materials to the people, together with the blessed candy and Be Veg-Go Green flyers. In return, local government officials and representatives of the people presented the hada, a piece of white long cloth symbolizing the highest respect, to each member of our relief team. The people were very grateful for Master’s infinite love in bestowing God’s care and concern in even the most remote corner of the world.
