How to Use Our Inner Infinite Power
Madou, Tainan, Formosa, September 24, 1987

Highlights:

Master says, “In the universe, humans are the highest - not the Buddha, not God. Without humans, there is no Buddha and no God.” Why do our prayers become most effective and responsive after we start practicing the Quan Yin Method? After seeing Master, some people are cured of their illness, others attain enlightenment, while still others have their wisdom eye opened. Why is the effect different for each person? Master says that meditating for an hour with a living Buddha is far better than meditating for a hundred years by ourselves. She encourages us to know our Divine Self within and use it to make our life more beautiful.

CD-CE08 (Spoken in Chinese)
An Overview of the Diamond Sutra
Madou, Tainan, Formosa, September 26, 1987

Highlights:

Supreme Master Ching Hai explains that a spiritual practitioner must first reopen the Divine within before they can really practice the Six Ways of Perfection. Once we have secured contact with this Power, we will naturally have wisdom, virtues, happiness, the Heavenly Kingdom and the Buddha’s Land. What is the Key to Heaven that Jesus Christ left with Saint Peter? How can we constantly follow the Buddhist doctrines? If the Buddha Nature resides in all sentient beings, why have we not become Buddha? These discourses spoken by Master in the earlier days are timely reminders urging us to strive for liberation from this vast dream of ignorance that has lasted so many lifetimes.

Recognizing Your Greatness
Six-Day International Retreat, Bangkok, Thailand
December 31, 1999

Highlights:

Some people can hear the inner Sound current and often communicate with God when they are very young. Why do they lose this ability when they are three or four years old? What wonderful feelings will we experience when we are in Samadhi? How can we maintain the good spiritual experiences we get from the retreats? Are natural crystals helpful to spiritual practice? How do we treat those fellow initiates who left Master to learn with other masters and then return? Master also explains, “When we see the Light in meditation, sometimes it is very subtle or it just lasts for a split second. But this ‘split second’ is eternal, because it is in eternity.”

Concentration on Work: A Way of Spiritual Practice
Six-Day International Retreat, Bangkok, Thailand
January 1, 2001

Highlights:

During the six-day Millennium retreat in Thailand, Master met with the working staff from Formosa and said that when we do a lot of spiritual work, our mind will not be complicated. When we are not working, it goes back to being complex. Working diligently with a devotional spirit is thus the best way to practice spiritually besides meditation, because while working we are focused, so it is a kind of spiritual practice. Master especially mentions that She likes people who work with a spirit of dedication. They are Her good working partners and best friends!
