A priest, a minister and a guru were discussing which position was the best for prayer. Nearby was a telephone man who was working to repair their telephone. The priest said to the other two, “Kneeling is definitely the best way to pray.”

“No,” the minister said. “I get the best results standing with my hands outstretched to Heaven.”

The guru said, “You are both wrong! The most effective prayer position is lying down flat on the floor.”

So the telephone repair man interrupted and said, “Excuse me, sirs, but the best praying I ever did was when I was hanging upside down from a telegraph pole!”
