[Shanghai] On October 28, Golden Year 4 (2007), local fellow initiates held a vegetarian food-tasting event at the Shanghai Creative Industry Center near the Suzhou River, which is frequented by many artists. In addition to delicious vegetarian food, ‘Alternative Living’ and ‘Save the Earth with aVeggie Diet’ flyers were distributed. Both the food and informative materials were welcomed and acknowledged by the general public. Many people took home leaflets for relatives and friends. Several ladies who had recently adopted the vegetarian diet excitedly enquired about vegetarian cooking. When we informed them that cooking programs are available on Supreme Master Television and information of all vegetarian restaurants and food suppliers in Shanghai were included in the leaflets, they were overjoyed and expressed their gratitude many times. They told us that with so much helpful information, they are all the more determined to adhere to the new diet.

This vegetarian food-tasting event attracted more than 600 visitors. Fellow initiates are very grateful to Master for giving them this precious opportunity to learn how to serve the public. The best reward for them was the satisfaction and smiles on the people's faces after they had savored their vegetarian food.
