[Hong Kong] Local fellow initiates devoted all resources to ensuring the success of their participation in the 18th Hong Kong Book Fair, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from July 18 to 24, Golden Year 4 (2007). This year’s event, dedicated to the theme “Reading Hong Kong,” attracted an all-time record high of 760,000 visitors.

The day before the book fair, we ran the latest advertisement of Supreme Master Television and announced Master’s new book release in AM730, a free local newspaper. During the exhibition, many hundreds of thousands of people passed by and visited our booth. We distributed 50,000 copies of vegetarian cookbooks, 50,000 Supreme Master Television leaflets, 6,000 Alternative Living environmental shopping bags, several thousand document folders, and over 10,000 bookmarks printed with Master’s aphorisms and paintings. Many expressed further interest after reading or watching media containing Master’s teachings, such as the introduction to Supreme Master Television, Master’s publications or Master’s lecture DVDs. They wanted to know more about our group, the Quan Yin Method and the vegetarian lifestyle. Some stated that they would switch to a vegetarian diet, while others said they wished to practice the Convenient Method of meditation.

The Hong Kong Center also presented Master’s new books, The Dogs in My Life and The Realization of Health. During the books’ introduction, the host explained how the vegetarian diet is related to good health in body, mind and spirit. Many visitors were impressed by Master’s profound knowledge and incisive ideas. When we introduced the book with Her lovely doggies, joy and laughter pervaded the venue. After the event, we served vegetarian snacks to fulfill visitors’ contentment in body as well as mind.

With deep compassion for animals and concerned about repeated outbreaks of epidemic diseases among animals and humans, Master has offered the world a fundamental solution to the problem by personally designing a friendly but convincing leaflet entitled “Alternative Living” to remind people to choose the vegetarian diet and stop killing in order to overcome global medical crises and save our fellow beings. Master has also instructed all initiates to share this message with their brothers and sisters in every corner of the world. In response, the practitioners have initiated an all-out effort to share Her words of love.
