A young initiate telling a funny story

On June 7, Golden Year 4 (2007), a team of San Jose Center brothers and sisters arrived at the Mission De La Casa Nursing and Rehabilitation center in San Jose, California to bring Master’s love to the seniors at the nursing home in celebration of the upcoming Father’s Day.

Brothers and sisters presented several performances, including dances based on music and lyrics composed by Master. We also showed the video “Walk the Way of Love” to give them a chance to see Master and receive the blessing directly. One of the last performances was a beautiful original song composed by the local initiates, entitled “A Song for All Fathers.” We left them with another beautiful old Irish song/prayer like this: “May the long time sun shine upon you. All love surround you. And the pure light within you guide your way on.”

As the seniors were listening and watching the performances, they became cheerful and attentive. It was such a gift to see the smiles and joy reflected back to us.

We also especially catered a nice buffet for the staff members from the nursing home, who were amazed by the tasty vegetarian food.
