March 5, 2007

Dear Supreme Master Ching Hai,

On behalf of the Education Assistance and Humanitarian Funds of the Vietnam Central Association for Promoting Educational Development, Central Headquarters, we respectfully thank You and Your Association for the gift of US$30,000 (thirty thousand US dollars) made on March 5, 2007. This will allow us to serve the less fortunate so that young children will have the opportunity to study, and for our other humanitarian programs in provinces and cities in South Vietnam.

We highly value the help and support from You and Your Association in assisting these humanitarian and educational efforts. We have recorded Your generous contribution in our Gold Book. We will use this money for the purpose of education and humanitarian endeavors according to Your wish, including support for the southern areas where there have been problems in education development.

Our association is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that serves 54 different ethnic communities of Vietnamese brothers and sisters through our two main fields of education and humanitarian aid.

Our plan for the year 2007 is to raise funds to provide 10,000 scholarships to outstanding students (1,000,000 VND per student) who are financially disadvantaged, build schools including two high schools, and build 100 "gratitude houses" in remote areas for the poor. Therefore, we greatly appreciate the care, support, materials and concern of charitable benefactors and other associations all over the world.

On behalf of the Education Assistance and Humanitarian Funds of the Vietnam Central Association for Promoting Educational Development, Central Headquarters, I would like to send You our sincere appreciation and our deepest gratitude.

We wish You and Your Association good health and many accomplishments in Your charity work in the coming year.

Respectfully,
Tran Minh Tam,
Director Education Assistance and Humanitarian Funds
