My very dear Supreme Master Ching Hai,

It is 2:00 a.m. in the early morning and all the recovering wildlife has been taken care of (fed, exercised, and loved). And the home is quiet and the world is asleep, this side of the world ... A good time for me to "visit" with You dear friend and tell You how You have entered our lives and our hearts with Your sincere friendship and kindness and most thoughtful generosity ... Shana loved Your beautiful ceremonial robes and wore them proudly.

Our local television station Channel 2 came to our home and made a special program showing Your beautiful gifts and Shana in her new robes. Your warm and caring members showed us every kindness and patience while making the film and brought us wonderful food all the way from our neighbor in the north, Toronto. They filmed our life story and Shana's, and toured the sanctuary. The film and their wonderful visit is the "talk" of our home town and will be featured in our home town and local papers.

It was a joy meeting Your representatives and the film members, and a life long friendship has been forged in our hearts. Norman and I and Shana will always remember Saturday March 3rd and the family of families that is now part of our hearts and our lives.

Thank You with all our hearts for Your most generous help for our recovering wildlife and for the beautiful gifts for Shana and for us. We wish You all a very happy and healthy new year.
