Love and Life Camp

[Young Dong] From January 28 to January 31, Golden Year 4 (2007), a Love and Life Camp was held for the initiated children and their non-initiate friends. The program included meditation, walking in nature, skiing, making vegetarian cookies and bread, learning about a social welfare system, and having fun around a camp fire.

The main event of the camp was a visit to a nursing home for the elderly and disabled. The children enjoyed making cookies and muffins, and wrapping them carefully for the visit. They also prepared a simple entertainment program with songs and dances. The residents of the nursing home rejoiced over the youngsters' visit. They expressed their deep gratitude, saying that this was the first time they had such happiness brought by young people. All the children also had a wonderful experience and hope to attend this camp next time.
