Perth People Love Alternative Living

By Perth News Group, Australia (Originally in English)

I love you and I won’t kill you!” said a cute little girl as she ran towards the animal chicken character. With such purity, the sweet child had a wonderful way of showing her love for God’s creation! This illustrates the response of people to Master’s compassionate message during the Perth Center’s recent events where Alternative Living flyers were distributed to the people of Perth at shopping malls.

For several months, full of enthusiasm and energy, Perth initiates have distributed Alternative Living flyers to suburban mailboxes individually or through news agents. A group also handed out Alternative Living flyers at the popular marketplace in the seaside town of Fremantle near Perth. Two other organized events were held at shopping malls in Warwick and Kardinya respectively on November 4 and 11, Golden Year 3 (2006).

At these two events, not only were Alternative Living flyers, shopping bags and T-shirts distributed free of charge but also Master’s sample booklets and magazines. With great interest, people also viewed Master’s DVD, “The Real Heroes,” at our booth. The public was truly appreciative of our efforts and gifts.

To drive home the message of no killing, initiates were dressed-up in animal costumes carrying signboards that read: “Love us, not eat us. All lives are precious.” Adults and children alike were all fascinated by the animal characters, hugging, shaking hands and having photographs taken with them.

Various responses during the session at Warwick shopping Center showed the positive effect it was achieving. A former principal scientist from India commended the great effort to create public awareness of Alternative Living. A lady who had received a flyer and Master’s sample booklet in the morning returned to seek further information on Master’s teachings and how they related to the Bible. A man who had sat near the booth reading Master’s sample booklet with intense concentration approached the Alternative Living booth with his aging mother to learn more about the Quan Yin Method. There was also a man who asked for more reading materials about Master and a convenient time to visit Perth Center.

In Kardinya, Master’s messages of love were received with the same success. This time, Supreme Kitchen cookbooks were given out to those interested in a vegetarian diet. The recipients were delighted with the gift, especially a pregnant vegetarian lady. Some people requested more flyers to help spread the good news.

Further activities to promote Alternative Living in public are planned, as Perth people are obviously yearning for a better way of living and spiritual upliftment.
