A Wonderful Journey through
East-Europe

In order to reach as many cities as possible and distribute all the flyers, we divided our team into 2 groups traveling with 2 cars, leaving Budapest, Hungary on July 2, Golden Year 3 (2006). Having crossed the Romanian border, each group took different routes and stopped in different cities throughout the northern part of Romania. After 2 days of distribution in many cities, we crossed another border and entered Moldova. Here one team remained in Chişinău, Moldova’s capital, for 2 days, while the second team crossed the border to Ukraine and reached its southern part where many beautiful cities lie on the shore of the Black Sea. After distributing the flyers in Chişinău, the first team entered Romania again and drove to different cities each day, crossing the Carpathian Mountains and going south until we reached the Danube River and then crossed the Carpathians again to the west part of Romania. The second team, after 4 days of distribution in Odessa, Ukr aine and other nearby cities, also came back to Romania and stopped in different cities for the last part of the trip before both teams came back to Budapest on July 11. On the very first morning when we arrived in Romania, there was an amazing coincidence. The first two people who received the flyer said that they are vegetarians because of their love for animals. So we considered this a “good omen from Master” for our trip. The Romanians are very nice and warm people, open to receiving the flyer and curious about its message. Despite the cultural and historical differences among the different parts of Romania that we visited, almost everyone that accepted the flyer said “thank you” and greeted us with an encouraging smile. After taking the flyer, many people stopped to read its content and some of them came back to ask for more information. They wanted to know where to buy vegetarian products and where we came from to bring this noble message. Some asked about our group and we gave them leaflets with Master’s teachings and more information about the Quan Yin Method. The noble ideal supporting this campaign and the fact that we were distributing flyers voluntarily in such far away cities and countries, for many locals was something incredible. Everyone greeted us very openly, wished us good luck, success and God’s blessing to carry on with this work. In one city one person even recognized one of our brothers from when he was distributing in another city and happily greeted him. In one Romanian city where 3 years ago we had a public seminar to share Master’s teachings, two ladies practicing the Convenient Method surprisingly showed up and were overjoyed to meet us again. During our conversation, they told us how much they prayed to Master in the last years to take care of them and our visit was like the answer they have been waiting for and also the reason for their over-excitement. We gave them many photos of Master and all the blessed candies that we had with us in our bags, which brought them even more joy. They also asked us to send their message of love to our beloved Master and tell Her that She is always in their hearts.
