The
Last Step
of Our Spiritual Journey

(Originally in English) [Melbourne] On the Queens birthday holiday weekend, the Mind-Body-Spirit Festival opened from June 9 to 12, Golden Year 3 (2006). This event featured everything from workshops and free lectures to a vast array of holistic information. The expo did get very busy as those who were there would attest; in fact on both Saturday and Sunday, the security actually closed the doors for a period of time due to the massive number of people. To present Master’s message effectively, our booth was set up very aesthetically with a DVD player constantly showing an assortment of Master’s lectures, plus free sample booklets and News magazines were available. Many people visited our booth for information and free literature. The initiates also handed out brochures advertising two free seminars, one on Sunday June 11 and the other on Sunday June 18. Along with the brochures, the Alternative Living flyers were also given out. One lady remarked that she thought we were the most sincere group, because everything was free - the seminars, the meditation information, the News magazines and the sample booklets, etc. Some people commented on Master’s photo and said they were very attracted to Her, and felt as if they knew Her in some way. The free seminars on the 11th and 18th started with an introduction to the Quan Yin meditation, plus details of the day’s agenda. There was a short biography of Master Ching Hai’s life, followed by one of Master’s lecture videos. Then those people wishing to learn and who were taught the Convenient Method were welcomed into the Quan Yin family. The finale was an absolutely delicious vegetarian buffet which had been joyously prepared by the Melbourne initiates. There was plenty for everyone, and the new practitioners were able to take home some cakes and snacks to enjoy later. Just a note to end on, I looked around the Mind-Body-Spirit
Festival, and saw so many similarities that I had observed in previous
years before I became initiated. I realized that I had been looking
for many years in these places before I actually discovered Master
Ching Hai and Her teachings, and that people do have to start somewhere
looking for their inner knowledge. But the biggest discovery I made
at this recent festival was that I knew that Master’s teachings
and the Quan Yin Method were the last step and the ultimate result
of all that searching. And what I perceived is that Master’s
booth was the Apex or the Pinnacle of everything else that was happening
under that roof at the Mind-Body-Spirit Festival 2006 Melbourne.
