An Enthusiastic Flyer Distribution Is Warmly Received

On the evening of May 4, Golden Year 3 (2006), a group of initiates of various nationalities met at the Vienna Center, fully charged with God’s grace and equipped to take on Slovakia’s capital city of Bratislava with Master’s Alternative Living flyers in the Slovakian language. From Vienna, the drive is just one hour, and we parked within walking distance of the city center.

Bratislava is not as large as other European capital cities but is one of the major ones in Eastern Europe. We were blessed to have been joined by two native speakers, one of whom was a Convenient Method practitioner.

We divided into various groups and slowly went through the old part of town, which was lovely and picturesque with its typical architecture. On the first day, some initiates visited the Ecological Society and the city’s libraries while others covered the main squares, parking lots, pedestrian shopping areas, indoor markets, bus stops and shops that supplied products pertaining to a healthy life style.

The Slovakians were not shy about accepting our leaflets. At the taxi stand, one cab driver chased after us to get more. We also visited the only two vegetarian restaurants in the city. One had a queue so long in the street, with at least 30 people waiting in line. We could not believe it! This was a very good restaurant, and a diverse mixture of people ate there. We gave an Alternative Living flyer to everyone in the line, and inside we placed one on each table. Amazingly, they even permitted us to leave a whole stack of flyers by the counter.

We returned to the Vienna Center for a meditation ‘boost’ and to reload the car with food and leaflets. The next day we returned to Bratislava to again distribute the flyers. On the second day, we distributed flyers at the universities and hospitals as well as visiting a large estate where we placed flyers in the mailboxes.

The sun was shining on both days and Master’s immense power was with us through and through. We look forward to going back for more flyer distribution in Bratislava as it is such a friendly town and only a short distance from the Austrian capital.
