The Rewards of Sincere Practice |

Initiate A: My life has changed considerably. I used to be a very quiet, shy person, and I hated to talk in public. But for the last few months, I've had one success after another in the office, and the executives have come forward to seek my advice. (Master: Wow!) I want to tell You how grateful I am for being part of the Quan Yin family. Thank You so much, Master.Master: I thank you for being such a good, good practitioner. You're reaping rewards from your beautiful efforts. So you can see the success already right in front of your eyes. You're good. Look at you: proud, confident and successful. I'm glad; I'm proud of you. Every one of us should be like that. I mean, in different ways. That's good, good, good. I'm very proud.
Initiate B: Master, we're here quickly growing healthy and strong. Each time we get together we all feel very grateful to You. As for myself, I still remember what You said to the new initiates: "Come back to ask questions after three or four years."
M: Yes, that's better!
B: And after three years of practice, I have no more questions. (M: Oh, good!) I feel absolutely contented.
M: Yes! You're the picture of happiness and perfection.
B: I feel that I'm not as strong as you are, Master. I'm still like a disciple.
M: Go slowly; enjoy your childhood. Don't grow up too fast or you'll lose it. It's all right. When we're still children, we're spoiled, more loved, more nourished and more nurtured. When we become Masters, it's a lot of work. No one even knows how much you work, and sometimes they blame you for not working enough or not seeing them enough. So just enjoy your luck. You feel that your life is better; that's what's important, and it's getting better and better all the time. That's good news.
I'm so proud of you. You're progressing so quickly! You must be very diligent, very sincere and very honest with yourself. That's why you've achieved success in just a few years. Even the old practitioners who stay in a cave, eat only once a day and don't see any women or anything for years -- in this case, they don't achieve what you've achieved. I'm really proud of you, and I thank God that I have people like you as my brothers and sisters in this big family. I'm so happy! (Applause)
