[Wang Rongxin reporting from Wanluan] The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association conducted a charitable activity yesterday, distributing relief funds, quilts and other daily necessities to low-income households and families affected by unemployment in Sinjhih Village, Wanluan Township and Pingtung County. Wanluan Mayor Syu Tongsheng extended his special thanks to delegates of the Association for their efforts.

In Sinjhih Village, the Association expressed concern for the less fortunate by holding a relief activity at Magistrate Sieh Shan-jhong's service center yesterday morning. Nine members of the Association distributed new quilts to local low-income families, hoping that the quilts would bring warmth to their lives and usher in a new year of prosperity. Also, a relief fund of NT$4,500 was presented to those severely affected by unemployment, with the hope that they can find jobs and improve their situation as soon as possible. Township Mayor Syu made a special point to come and personally thank the Association delegates for their warm concern.
