Love and Concern in Mid-autumn

On behalf of the villagers, Hsinchih Village Chief Wang in Wanluan rural township, Pingtung accepts Mid-autumn Festival gifts of moon cakes from the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association.

The spirit of love and care for the needy and helpless, embraced by the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association, shone again this year during the Mid-autumn Festival in Formosa. Members of the Association visited destitute households, senior citizens, and prison inmates in Tainan, Changhua, Kaohsiung and Pingtung. On the eve of the Mid-autumn Festival, the Kaoping Center delivered 180 boxes of moon cakes, lovingly prepared by local fellow practitioners, to the administrative office of Hsinchih Village Chief Wang in Wanluan rural township. Fellow initiates and Mr. Wang personally delivered the moon cakes to elderly people above seventy years of age, and expressed concern about their daily life. Mr. Wang also thanked the Association on behalf of the rural residents for its many years of care and concern.
