Poem

Each day's a struggle,
But in Your presence
Each day's a blessing.

We're all human,
But in Your presence
We're all honestly divine.

This life's an immense lesson,
But with You
It's a steppingstone to infinity.

We're tired and lost,
But with You
The dawn is just beginning.

We're sad and disheartened,
But with You
We have all we need.

All I have is from You.
You gave me the gift of Love.
Love is here, and I promise to keep it a secret.
You know, and that's all that matters.

Even before time began I was with You.
You're the closest Being
And yet - what a miracle!
A miracle!
You are always, always
So simple, so simple
And yet - what a miracle!

No need to ask, to talk
No need to suffer, to fear
No need to run away, to come closer
No need to hide, to show off
No need to wait, to hurry
No need to beg, to give
No need to remember, to forget.

We each come to a crossroads, lost and disillusioned,
Only to find You, be found by You,
Find all that ever was or will be!
Your smiling eyes pierce our hearts.
That ever were or will be,
And yet You just smile quietly,
Awaiting us.

We rediscover the miracle,
The greatest power,
Greatest truth,
Simplest power,
Plainest truth,
Only power,
Single truth,
Only Reality,
Oh, lead us to it!

I know You're there
I know You are...
My eyes can't see You,
But my heart is full of You.
You enter quietly at night to guard my sleep.
You lift me when I fall.
Carry me when I tire.
Expecting nothing in return.
Even recognition of Your Being.

There's no way to describe the beauty You radiate.
No way to show how much You mean to us.
Oh, no way to thank You!

Because You care,
You forgive,
You love,
Because You are
.
