Many fellow initiates like instant noodles both for convenience and taste. However, the ingredients of some instant noodles are not completely listed. For example, a brand of Korean instant noodles contains beef, but this fact is not indicated in its English ingredients list. In this case, fellow initiates may mistake it for vegetarian instant noodles. Master thus reminds us to be especially cautious regarding this matter. Below are some brands of vegetarian instant noodles for reference; nevertheless, please check their ingredients carefully before purchasing. Sometimes a company has products with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties, or a same product name may be produced in different countries by separate branches of a company and thus may have different ingredients, some of which are vegetarian and others not. To be safe, it is best to buy products that have "VEGETARIAN" labels. If products in your area are not labeled as being vegetarian, you can request the complete product ingredient listing from the manufacturer, or suggest that they specifically label their vegetarian products. When more such requests are made, these companies will be willing to clarify the ingredients of their products and label them.
