Letter between Master and Disciples

Master Sees Me through
Difficulties and Dangers

By sister initiate Ya-fen, China (Originally in Chinese)

Beloved and venerated Master,

I have been initiated for over a year. During this year, initiation has touched my life in many ways. I have so much to say to You that I don’t know where to begin, because You have given me so much love!

I still remember at the Thailand seminar last year, I had booked my return ticket for November 30. However, on that day, You told us that You would give us a surprise gift after dinner. I was torn between staying to receive the gift and going home. Of course, I longed to receive the gift, but I was running out of money. Fortunately, some fellow sisters gathered enough money for me to change the ticket. In the meantime, I was worried that when I returned home, my husband would be unhappy, because he is the one in charge of our finances. So I prayed silently in my heart to Master to help me solve this problem. My prayer was answered. When I reached home, the whole family including my husband was all very excited and crowded around me asking for stories of my trip. My husband also gave me the money so that I could repay the sister initiate the next day. I could hardly believe it! Master, I knew very well that it was all due to Your help. Thank You very much!

On another day, when I was cooking dinner, my mother, who is in her seventies, came to visit. Feeling sorry because she had walked such a long way, I quickly helped her step into the house and sit down. Then I poured her a drink and chatted with her for about ten minutes. Suddenly, I saw a cloud of black smoke above my kitchen, and wondered who was cooking that produced so much smoke. In a flash, I remembered that it was my own kitchen, and that I had forgotten to turn off the fire and ventilator! I dashed into the kitchen and was shocked to see that a huge fire had totally engulfed the gas stove and ventilator. This frightful scene put me into a panic, but soon I remembered to recite the Holy Names while trying to put out the fire. In a short time, the whole kitchen was reduced to relics. Later, cleaning up the place, I found that all the plastic bottles beneath and on top of the gas stove was melted by the fire, yet the wooden window was still intact. The most fortunate thing was that the gas cylinder didn’t explode though it was only a meter away from the gas stove. This incident was another proof that You have silently helped and blessed us. We are grateful for Your great mercy in caring and protecting us wherever we go.

Dear Master, I will firmly follow and practice Your teachings, and do my best to share the Quan Yin Method, so that more people can live a happy life and become noble and perfect beings!

Wishing You good health and success in Your Truth-spreading work!

Respectfully,

Your disciple Ya-fen
